The Route des Tamarins, on Reunion Island, is a 2×2 lane road being built through the mountains to open up the RN1, a very dangerous coast road passing between the Indian Ocean and the mountains.
The safety facilities were manufactured by ROADIS LPC companies, the Galva Union Group’s Road Safety Facilities branch. This equipment was galvanised to protect it from corrosion in extreme conditions (heat, humidity and proximity to the ocean). A certain number of elements were also treated with DECOZINC thermo-lacquering to respond to the architectural desire to make these exceptional structures stand out in the island’s landscape.
Constructor : SLER and ROADIS LPC
