The project is located on the road that links the village of La Pesga with the Regional Road EX-204 . La Pesga is located on the Shore of Gabriel Galan Lake, in the middle of the famous Hurdes County, in the north of the province of Caceres, Spain.

Hurdes County are washed by five rivers that have created a magnificent ecosystem with abundant vegetation, where pines, centenary trees and olive trees are combined.

The area suffered forest fires in recent years. Now, the regional authorities invest in the area to restore the environmental surroundings.

The road is in the middle of a mountain that suffered these fires, so it is free from trees. The installation of the EURO MB2 mixed metal / wooden barrier is part of this process of recovery of the area, along with cleaning the mountain, infrastructure rehabilitation and reforestation.

The EURO MB2 system has been installed on five different road sections with a total length of 3 km, offering an optimal level of security and landscape integration at the same time.
