Since 2007, the departmental council of Cher has proceeded to improve the departmental roads 920 and 40. This represents a road section of 7.6 km in the link "El Chautay and Cours-les-Barres". This section of road has a daily traffic intensity of 3,000 vehicles, 200 of which are trucks.

It is in the fourth phase of the works, have installed 3 kilometres of the powdercoated system Euro GS N2 W3, between the municipalities of Torteron and Cours-les-Barres.

Reinforcement of the road surface, improvement and widening of the layout have been made. The Euro GS N2 W3 completes these safety features and adds a touch of landscape integration through the green powder coating RAL 6005.
